Stop Waiting For The Perfect Moment
If there is one thing I have learned over the years, it is this:
The perfect moment rarely exists.
Many people spend years waiting.
Waiting for more money.
Waiting for more confidence.
Waiting for the right timing.
Waiting until everything feels certain.
The problem is that life doesn't work that way.
Sometimes you simply have to start.
Looking back, I realise that most of the important decisions in my life were never made at the perfect moment.
When I moved abroad, I didn't know exactly how things would turn out.
When I started blogging, I certainly didn't know where it would lead.
And when I recently decided to start Miss La Diva again, I didn't have a perfect plan either.
I simply started.
One thing I regret is waiting so long before returning to blogging.
For years, the idea was in the back of my mind.
I kept thinking about it.
I kept telling myself I would do it later.
But later turned into months and months turned into years.
Eventually, I realised that the only thing standing in my way was myself.
The moment I started again, I remembered how much I enjoyed writing.
The funny thing is that many people are not afraid of failing.
They are afraid of starting.
Because once you start, people can judge you.
People can have opinions.
Things might not work out.
But what if they do?
What if that thing you have been thinking about for years turns out to be one of the best decisions you ever make?
I think too many people underestimate how much can change when they simply take the first step.
Will everything go perfectly?
Probably not.
Will you make mistakes?
Absolutely.
I know I have.
But mistakes are part of the process.
You learn.
You grow.
And you keep moving forward.
If someone asked me for advice today, I would say this:
Don't wait for tomorrow.
Don't wait for next month.
And don't wait for next year.
Because the truth is that nobody knows what tomorrow will bring.
Life can change in an instant.
If there is something you really want to do, start now.
Take one small step.
Because the perfect moment may never arrive.
And sometimes the best thing you can do is begin before you feel completely ready.
Love,
Shavida
