My Favourite Easy Meals Right Now
When life gets busy, I don't always want to spend hours in the kitchen.
I love cooking, but I also love simple meals that are easy to make and taste great.
Since I am currently trying to lose weight and live a healthier lifestyle, some of my favourite meals have changed over the past few months.
These are the meals I enjoy the most right now.
1. Pasta Pesto
One of my favourite quick meals is pasta pesto.
It is simple, delicious and perfect for busy days when I don't feel like spending a lot of time cooking.
2. Chicken Alfredo
Chicken Alfredo is another meal I love.
It feels like comfort food, but it is still easy enough to make on a weeknight.
3. Indian Eggs

Indian eggs are one of my favourite easy meals because they are full of flavour and simple to prepare.
4. Surinamese Chicken
If I am cooking for my partner, Surinamese chicken is usually my first choice.
It is one of those dishes that always feels special and reminds me of my roots.
5. Oxtail
My favourite comfort food has to be Surinamese oxtail.
I could honestly eat it every week.
It is rich, comforting and one of my all-time favourite dishes.
6. Chicken And Sweet Potato
Because I am focusing on my health, I often eat chicken breast with sweet potato.
It is filling, nutritious and fits perfectly into my current lifestyle.
My Secret Ingredient
If there is one thing that can never be missing from my kitchen, it is spices.
Good spices can turn a simple meal into something amazing.
I love experimenting with different flavours and creating meals that are full of taste.
My Favourite Cuisine
Without a doubt, my favourite cuisine is Surinamese food.
I love the flavours, the spices and the memories that come with it.
