5 Things I Always Pack For A Trip
I love travelling, and although I didn't fly for many years, there are a few things I always make sure to pack whenever I go on a trip.
Some items are practical, some are personal, but all of them make travelling a little easier.
1. My Passport
This may sound obvious, but my passport is always the first thing I check before leaving home.
Without it, the trip is over before it even begins.
2. My Phone And Tablet
I never travel without my phone and tablet.
My phone helps me stay connected, while my tablet is perfect for reading articles, watching videos and relaxing during long journeys.
3. Paracetamol And Other Essentials
I always carry a few basic essentials in my hand luggage.
Things like paracetamol, tampons and lip balm may seem small, but they can make a big difference when you need them.
I would rather have them with me than wish I had packed them.
4. Gifts For Family And Friends
Whenever I travel to Morocco, I usually bring small gifts and useful items for family and people I care about.
I enjoy doing that.
It is a simple way of showing someone you were thinking about them.
5. Comfortable Shoes
One thing I never forget in my suitcase is a good pair of shoes.
Actually, I usually bring more than one pair.
Comfort is important when travelling, especially if you spend a lot of time walking.
What I Don't Buy At The Airport
Many people enjoy shopping at airports.
I am not one of them.
Most of the time, I don't buy anything.
I think airport shops are quite expensive, so I prefer to buy what I need before I leave.
Travelling doesn't have to be complicated.
For me, it is often the simple things that matter most: having the essentials, being prepared and enjoying the journey.
Love,
Shavida
