Man digs 40 meter deep tunnel in his kitchen after dreaming about gold treasure, but dies after falling in

Rio de Janeiro - A 71-year-old Brazilian guy had a dream that there was treasure beneath his floor, so he dug an amazing hole in his own kitchen. However, he fell into the hole last week during the excavation operations and passed away.

Joo Pimenta da Silva, 71, died last Thursday after falling roughly 40 meters into a hole he made himself. The man began excavating after having a dream that there was treasure beneath his kitchen floor. It is unknown how the man dug the 40-meter-deep, 90-centimeter-diameter hole. The well's stability astounded rescuers who arrived on the scene.

But everything went wrong last week. The man is claimed to have emerged from the hole around noon, but then slipped and collapsed. He'd be too busy clearing mud and water.

After someone alerted the emergency services, a rescue worker plunged down the well. And that wasn't a simple operation. The rescuer in question required an oxygen bottle to descend thus far, adding to the well's mystery.

At the bottom, he discovered a man in his seventies. According to authorities, the man had open fractures in both legs, a broken hip, many lacerations on his torso, head wounds, abrasions, and showed no indications of life.

According to a neighbor, da Silva had been digging the hole for more than a year, according to the Brazilian newspaper O Globo. According to the neighbor, da Silva had frequently recruited workers. They were first paid the equivalent of around 13 euros each day. "But the deeper the hole became, the more he paid."
