Hey there! I heard that an Australian journalist is curious about how creative parents can get when it comes to naming their children. They want to explore the boundaries and see just how far people are willing to go. Sounds like an interesting topic, right? To her pleasant surprise, her choice was accepted. I wasn't expecting this!
Kirsten Drysdale, who works for ABC, just had her third child with her husband Chris. The question of what legal names I can give my child was frequently discussed in her program, 'WTFAQ', and a very pregnant Kirsten decided to look into it herself. The body that approves names has unfortunately rejected previous requests for an interview.
Kirsten shared with news.com.au that they were searching for a name that would really surprise people and definitely not be approved. We stumbled upon Methamphetamine Rules and thought the name might not be accepted. Kirsten was pleasantly surprised when the birth certificate for Methamphetamine Rules unexpectedly showed up in her mailbox. We were simply hoping to find a lighthearted answer to our question, but we definitely didn't anticipate this!
The organization responsible for approving names has acknowledged a mistake and assured that the boy will soon be given his correct name. Kirsten kindly mentions, "That's a lovely name, and I want to assure you that it has absolutely no connection to drugs."
