A German judge has ruled that urinating in the sea is not a crime.

It's okay to urinate in the ocean. A German judge in the city of Lübeck made this decision. The 60 euro punishment imposed on a guy for urinating in the Baltic Sea is not required to be paid. This establishes unequivocally that urinating in the sea is not illegal in Germany.

The man's bladder started acting up at the beach when he and his companions were on vacation. He was unaware that there was an enforcer on the same beach at the time. He was punished for urinating in public. A floodlight suddenly flashed on him as the fly was zipped back up. The German filed an appeal after objecting to the fine.

The judge found that there was no inappropriate exhibition of his private parts. It was, after all, dark. The pee may also have no odor since the water from the Baltic Sea rapidly dilutes the pool. Finally, the judge stated, "Under the vastness of the sky, people have no less rights than deer in the forest, hare in the field, or seal in the Baltic Sea water."
