This food contains more salt than a bag of chips

In the sugar industry, salt has become a bit snowed under, but too much salt is harmful. You can not eat more than 6 grams of salt a day. How quickly you go over it is shown by the amount of salt in the products below. They seem healthy, but they are not. 

Soup
In a serving of ready-to-eat tomato soup, there are about two grams of salt. And then you do not even count pieces of bread or breadsticks. 

Sushi
The amount of salt in sushi is really shocking. A portion of sushi without soy sauce already contains three grams of salt. And everyone knows how salt is soy sauce. 

Cornflakes
You do not expect it directly, but even in cornflakes there is a lot of salt: 1 gram per 100 grams. 

Rye bread
It seems so healthy, but the salt content is 1.15 grams per 100 grams, pretty high. Do not eat too much and prefer to choose wholemeal bread. 

Smoked salmon
Smoked salmon is a source of healthy protein and omega 3, but it is also bursting with salt, namely 3.5 grams per 100 grams. So you can take salmon fillet much better. There is hardly any salt in it.
