Porn sites visited massively from British parliament building

Since the elections in June last year, 24,500 attempts have been made from the British Parliament to visit porn sites. Official data show that parliamentarians, members of the upper house and employees click on average 160 times a day on average. The figures show a peak in September, when in one month almost a thousand attempts were made to watch porn. According to parliamentary spokespersons, such sites were not deliberately clicked in the majority of these cases.
Westminster's computer networks block all porn sites, but register the attempts. The number of times that last year was clicked on links to porn starkly contrasts with previous years, the newspaper The Guardian reports. There is no data available for the whole year. In the months of January and February, technological changes were implemented so there was no tracking of how many attempts were made to reach a site. Since March 2017 until the end of the year, a total of 30,876 attempts have been made.
A year earlier the networks blocked 113,000 attempts and in 2015 213,000 unsuccessful clicks were registered. Westminster has 8,500 computers and devices that use the Wi-Fi network in the buildings.
