A supermarket in the Japanese city of Gamagori accidentally sold puffer fish, without removing the highly toxic liver. A small amount of the fugu can already be fatal. The municipality has placed loudspeakers in the city to warn people not to eat the fish, different media reports on Tuesday. The supermarket has sold five of the poisonous fish. Three of the fish are already justly. Fugu is an expensive delicacy in Japan, and a small mistake in the preparation can be fatal. Only specially trained chefs with a license are allowed to serve the fish. Many accidents occur every year in which people end up in the hospital. The skin, intestines, liver and ovaries of the fish contain the toxic substance.
