Handy: You can split this house in two after a divorce



Divorce is a dramatic experience for the whole family to experience. One of the things that needs to be arranged is the house: who stays there, who leaves, does the house have to be sold and does everyone have to find a new place? There is now a solution for that! 

Imagine, your house is unsaleable after the divorce or you find it very bad that your children have to get used to a new house. With a divorce you have to do almost everything in half and distribute it with your future ex-partner. And that is now also literally with your house. Social media expert Omar Kbiri has come up with a very practical house that you can split in two. Together with the Dutch design studio Studio OBA, he came up with Prenuptial Housing. The two parts of the house are made of carbon fibers with on the outside wooden plates that ensure that the house looks like a whole. The two parts are held together by a very simple connection mechanism. Now the house is only available for on the water. 

If you divorce, you disconnect and literally drive away from each other. The design studio also sees possibilities to make the house on wheels. Not everyone likes to live on or near the water. Regulatory measures are not always successful in the Netherlands. For now, the design agency is only focusing on countries abroad such as Portugal, Belgium and Hungary. These are countries where many divorces are. Who knows in the near future we will see Prenuptional Housing also appearing in the Netherlands. No worries about what to do with the house, saves a lot of stress and regulate during your divorce. Splitting a house in two would therefore be ideal. For now you as a divorcing couple have to struggle through all the registers that come to see a divorce. Conveniently, there is a checklist for during and just after the divorce. Then you know for sure that you do not forget to arrange anything.

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.
