Be shocked by the Friends series

Friends, the hit series of the nineties, has recently re-appeared on Netflix. But it seems that the series does not really catch on among young people. They call the series sexist and homophobic. Whoever was young in the nineties, watched Friends. Many have seen every episode of the series several times that ran until 2004. It is therefore not surprising that Netflix included the series in its assortment. But times have clearly changed. Young people feel uncomfortable with different scenes in the series. For example, they do not like Chandler paranoid reacting when he is seen as gay or making jokes about his father who is a transvestite. They also find it sexist that Ross can not stand the nanny who Rachel hires for their daughter Emma is a man. Ross even asks if the man is gay. The jokes about the overweight that Monica once had are also not in good shape, for example when Joey calls out: "Someone has eaten Monica." Furthermore, there is the episode in which Rachel hires an assistant not because of his qualities, but because she wants to date with him. In this time she would be fired, find millennials. There would also be too little diversity in the series. There are only two dark characters: Dr. Charlie Wheeler and Julia, the girlfriend of Ross. They are jokes that are no longer possible today, the viewers think. Do they have a point or do they react hypersensitive?
