A Christmas dinner for the dog, it is becoming increasingly popular. But ask yourself: is your dog really waiting for that? Supplier Medpets (Dutch animal site) has seen the sale of Christmas meals for dogs double in a year's time. Of course you do not give the animal a five-course dinner, but things like reindeer chunks, lime slices and 'ho ho ho-bones'. Dog expert Sascha Gaus says that owners have to realize that they are doing it for themselves and not for the dog. He really does not realize that it is Christmas and is happier playing together for an hour.

This list of toxic foods for dogs 

  • Avocado. Provides vomiting, diarrhea, heart problems and mortality.
  • Chocolate. Provides for example vomiting, nervous disorders, coma and mortality.

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible.
