Woman (74) has a very strong stomach: doctors removed 152 metal objects.

In the southeast of Russia, a 74-year-old woman was hospitalized. When the doctors examined her, they did not know what they saw: the woman had 152 different metal objects in her stomach, including nails and screws. The older woman named Nina came to the hospital because she did not feel well and had a high fever. When the doctors examined her, they were surprised to find that Nina had more than 152 metal objects in her stomach. Nina told the doctors that she had an iron deficiency and that she thought that consuming metal objects would remedy the shortage.

Nina started to consume metal objects no less than 14 years ago. Among the objects were long nails, large screws, bolts, a hinge and some scrap. Nobody knows how long those objects were already in Nina's stomach. Remarkably, Nina has not damaged her stomach and throat. She is not in danger of life, but the doctors want to keep her in the hospital for observation.
