To prevent passengers from falling off their seats, cylindrical cabs can move on the wagons. That way you are always horizontal. The special funicular railway connects the town of Schwyz with Stoos, which lies on a plateau. the steepest part is the slope of 110 percent: that means that the train rises 1.10 meters on every meter. The trip on the Stoosbahn takes about four minutes. The new connection cost 47 million euros.
