Swedish festival only for women 'until men know how to behave'

Next summer the first 'man-free' festival will take place in Sweden. It is a reaction to the large number of sexual offenses at Swedish festivals. It was previously announced that Bråvalla, the biggest festival in the country, would not go through in 2018 because of four rapes and 23 assaults during the last edition. Reason for the Swedish radio host and comedian Emma Knyckare to tweet: "What did you think of a very cool festival where only non-men are welcome and that will remain so until ALL men have learned how to behave?" She received so much support that she later confirmed on Instagram: Sweden's first man-free rock festival will take place next summer. In the coming days, I am looking for a good group of talented organizers and project leaders to organize the festival. You hear more when it's time to move on. " Bråvalla is not the only Swedish festival where men bother women. In fact, it is a global problem. For example, 28 British festivals held an online 'blackout' in May for the # saferspacesatfestivals campaign.

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible.
