Orca Tilikum from documentary Blackfish deceased



His life was the common thread in the award-winning film.

It is still unknown which the 36-year-old killer is deceased, report different American media. However, struggled the orca, named Tilikum, a bacterial infection. In the documentary Blackfish shows how the orcas are abused in the Sea World parks. The park has subsequently promised to stop the controversial shows in 2017. 

Tilikum garnered fame after he killed a trainer at SeaWorld Orlando in 2010. He was also involved in two other deaths: in 1981 a trainer died after an incident during a show in 1991 died an intruder after closing.

The orca was at the age of two wild caught near Iceland. He was then a year collected in a small tank, after which he spent the rest of his life in various marine aquariums. Commenting allows animal rights organization PETA know hoped that Tilikum the orca's is the last dying in captivity. 

"SeaWorld's announcement that it was putting an end to the orca breeding program but for it came too late for Tilikum. From the time he was stolen from their family, his life was tragic and filled with pain, like the lives of animals who are still forced to live in SeaWorld tanks. "

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.
