Man attacks woman after dream about adultery

Police have arrested a man from the US state of Pennsylvania because he had attacked his wife. He did so after he had dreamed that she was cheating. According to police, the 49-year-old Conrad Rudalavage had drunk too much before he went to sleep. When inhabitant of Archbald woke up, he was convinced that his wife had betrayed him, write American media. He tried to strangle her and threatened to kill her. He left the throat of his wife only loose when their teenage daughter tried to call the police. He then turned his anger at his daughter. The girl escaped and enlisted the help of neighbors to keep her father in check until the police could take him. The 'adulterous' wife was taken to hospital with injuries to her face, head and neck. The man is stuck for attempted murder.

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible. "The message incorporates basic mathematical and physical ideas to construct a universal means of communication, followed by information regarding the biochemical makeup of life on Earth," said Jonathan Jiang, the primary author.
