Girl wants to hire family to celebrate birthday

The nineteen year old Natalie Carson in Colorado placed a special advertising: Family wanted to celebrate twentieth anniversary. The American came as a baby in foster care, where it was abused as a little girl by the adoptive parents, and then grew up in foster homes. She has never had a family party. Natalie now wants to hire a loving family to celebrate a birthday party. That's why they put an ad on Craigslist, looking for a family for her twentieth birthday. She is not looking for financial help and was even prepared to pay eight dollars an hour for the "family-hiring." Natalie will for the first time in her life, a nice birthday: Of course I've had birthdays, but usually these were painful, says Natalie. She placed the call a few days ago, in the hope that before her birthday on June 10 a family sign up.

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible. "The message incorporates basic mathematical and physical ideas to construct a universal means of communication, followed by information regarding the biochemical makeup of life on Earth," said Jonathan Jiang, the primary author. The so-called Beacon In The Galaxy (BITG) is written in binary code and concludes with a digital image of a man and a woman, as well as an invitation to reply.
