A man from the German city of Rostock dodged the dog tax years in a very creative way. He pretended that his dog was a sheep. He did what? Yes, you read it right: he pretended that his dog was a sheep. Yes, the breed of the dog, "Spanish water dog ', has the long hair a bit like a sheep. But the dog officially rename sheep, nobody has ever heard. Agents held the man this week because his dog was not wearing a penny tax. That is required fore dogs in certain parts of Germany. But even when he was caught red-handed, the man insisted that he was walking with his sheep. He could even show an official animal document, which said that the animal was really a sheep. There was finally a vet to prove that it was a dog. The man gets a big additional tax assessment.

Last year,  last weekend of August, a new event  started  in the Netherlands: Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam. For three days the Amsterdam World Fashion Centre was dedicated to African culture and fashion. For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible. "The message incorporates basic mathematical and physical ideas to construct a universal means of communication, followed by information regarding the biochemical makeup of life on Earth," said Jonathan Jiang, the primary author. The so-called Beacon In The Galaxy (BITG) is written in binary code and concludes with a digital image of a man and a woman, as well as an invitation to reply.
