Bizarre laws in the US

In 'the land of the free' you do not do what you want. Several states in America have bizarre laws. Here are five examples: 

1. Drunk
In Alaska, it is illegal to be drunk in a bar and then stay there. It apparently intended that if you get tipsy you have to leave. 

 2. Cheating
In Michigan if you cheat your partner. You can go to the cell for four years.

3. Curses
In Mississippi you have to pay attention to your words. Curses where there is two or more people is nog allowed there. There is a prison sentence of a maximum of to thirty days.

4. National Anthem
No half songs in Massachusetts. When you start the national anthem, you have to finish it. It is forbidden to stop halfway. 

5. Idiots
In New Mexico, every citizen the right to vote except 'idiots'. The word idiot was used for mentally disabled people, but the term has never changed.

Last year,  last weekend of August, a new event  started  in the Netherlands: Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam. For three days the Amsterdam World Fashion Centre was dedicated to African culture and fashion. For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible. "The message incorporates basic mathematical and physical ideas to construct a universal means of communication, followed by information regarding the biochemical makeup of life on Earth," said Jonathan Jiang, the primary author. The so-called Beacon In The Galaxy (BITG) is written in binary code and concludes with a digital image of a man and a woman, as well as an invitation to reply.
