10 times the Simpsons predicted the future

Who has not gotten it: Donald Trump is president of America the next four years. The opinions are quite divided on this and almost nobody saw this coming. Who saw this coming are the writers of The Simpsons. In recent years, this series has done some pretty correct predictions. 

Here are some predictions that afterwards gave us a glimpse into the future. The latest prediction come true, the prediction is that Donald Trump would be president. This is not the only prediction that they made, The Simpsons. 

Over the years The Simpsons have done quite a few correct predictions including the Ebola outbreak and 9/11. How do they know that, we do not know but that it is a coincidence is all we can not deny. Below is a small list of predictions from the past few years.

Last year,  last weekend of August, a new event  started  in the Netherlands: Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam. For three days the Amsterdam World Fashion Centre was dedicated to African culture and fashion. For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible. "The message incorporates basic mathematical and physical ideas to construct a universal means of communication, followed by information regarding the biochemical makeup of life on Earth," said Jonathan Jiang, the primary author.
