Slinger in Australian tree shows venomous snake

A woman in Australia found a very special ornament on the Christmas tree at her home there appeared to be a tiger snake, about a meter long to have climbed into the tree. The woman from Melbourne immediately called a snake catcher who removed the animal safely from the tree, the BBC reports.

According to the snake catcher the women responded well to the discovery of the venomous snake. "She left the room, closed the door and put a towel on the doorstep. And then she called me."
In Australia, people find snakes in the strangest places, he says. "In shoes, washing machines, cat litter and kitchen cabinets." The snake office found last month, even a small snake in a cauliflower.

The snake is after the capture of the Christmas tree put back into nature. The tiger snake is a protected species in a large part of Australia.
