Austrian court decides house rules for smoker

Big Brother determines in Austria where you can smoke in your own home. The Supreme Court stated the hours determine when a man in Vienna within his own home or on his balcony may smoke. The case was brought by a professor from a university in Vienna who complained about the cigar smoke from the neighbor who lives one floor below.

 The neighbor smokes every day one or two cigars, sometimes on his balcony or indoors with the windows open, when it is cold. He does so mainly at night between midnight and two o'clock. A district court first imposed a total ban on smoking, not least because another neighbor had moved because the children of the family got breathing problems.

 The smoker went to appeal, which he was given the right to smoke between 10 o'clock and two o'clock in the morning. Then the professor went there again to appeal in the Supreme Court.

 The Court decided that the man in the period from 1 May to 31 October was not allowed to smoke during the day between 8 and 10, 12 and 3 and 6 to 8 in the evening. From 1 November to 30 April, he can not smoke in the morning between 8 and 9 in the afternoon between 1 and 2 and in the evening between 7 and 8. At night he can not smoke regardless of the season from 10 to 6.

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.
