Groundhog day



Punxsutawney Phil, the famous groundhog in the world, not seen his own shadow Tuesday's. According to local superstition, this means that spring is early in 2016.

groundhog came in Punxsutawney town in the US state of Pennsylvania to just before 7:30 in the morning from his burrow, US media report.

According to superstition the groundhog can predict on 2 February if spring coming. The animal then awakens out of its hibernation. if Phil upon awakening and sees his shadow, then winter will last six more weeks.

The event was held this year for the 128th time place. More than 20,000 people attended the celebration in Punxsutawney and spent the whole night in the lair of the town mascot.



According to the website of Phil, the rodent always be right, but American meteorologists put their doubts about the predictive abilities of the groundhog.

The festival, which is celebrated in more US cities, the center of the classic film Groundhog Day in 1993.  Comedy actor Bill Murray plays a cynical journalist who needs to report the ceremony. By a bizarre twist of fate, Murray is stuck on 2 February and he is back with the hated day. Every day!

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible.
