Don't call just don't.


Police in London has published a list of the ten most unnecessary emergency calls they receive.

The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) warns that the calls a danger for people who are in real distress, The Guardian reported that wednesday.

The police were called, inter alia, by a woman who complained about a clown that ask five British pound for a balloon while the other clowns in the British capital much lower prices wielded.

Police Chief Pippa Mills calls this an example of the list of inappropriate. "Callers who are not in need, can avoid being reached by others who immediately need our help."

The MPS receives over 4.5 million calls a year through the emergency number 999 and number 101 for non-emergency cases.

According to the police, especially the Christmas and New Year's the busiest time of year for the emergency services.

The ten most unnecessary calls to the emergency number:

• A woman who had bought a cold kebab and was not getting a new one from the restaurant.

• People who had slept through their alarm, threatening to miss their plane and hoped that the police could bring them to the airport.

• A woman who complains about a clown that ask five British pound  for a balloon while the other clowns asked for much less.

• People who are thought to be in distress, because the red light of the fuel tank of their car began to burn.

• A man whose coin was stuck in the washing machine at the local launderette and hoped that the police could retrieve it.

• A man who had not paid for a parking meter and claimed that employees of the parking lot had abducted him because they wanted to go paying him the parking lot.

• A man called the emergency number at 4.00 pm with the question what was the best place to buy a sandwich bacon at this time.

• A man who the number for non-emergency medical cases was forgotten.

• A woman who could not sleep because of some noisy foxes.

• A woman who called the emergency number to say that men were at her home and wanted to abduct her. It turned out to be police officers who tried to arrest her.
