Let us polish our teeth in the dark!

Before going to sleep brushing you're teeth in the dark,  helps people to fall asleep faster.

That says neuroscientist from Oxford, Russell Foster.

The scientist claims that the bright light in most bathrooms arouses the body, while the rest would have to correct. Brushing your teeth at night can help to preserve these 'rest position', making someone fall asleep faster.

"When it is dark, your body get signals that it is time for bed. Suddenly turn on the light in the bathroom is very disturbing," said Foster during a lecture in London. "Actually, a bathroom light come with separate settings for the evening."

"On average, we spend 36 percent of our lives sleeping. Sleep deprivation can lead to impaired immune function and increased risk of obesity and mental illness," Foster explains. "That's why it is so important to pay attention to your biological clock and your natural rhythm to disrupt as little as possible."
