Singer Beth Ditto walks at the Marc Jacobs show


Beth Ditto walked Thursday in the fashion show of Marc Jacbos. The American singer wore a white dress with a deep neckline and split.



"I received an email, which I answered and then I flew in for the match," Ditto tells about her modeling job at the American edition of fashion magazine Elle.

Her dramatic rock chick makeup fell on good soil. "I love it. I'm obsessed by it and this is my favorite mascara. I'm not good in the paint with natural looks."

Ditto also ran in 2010 along with a show by Jean Paul Gaultier. The singer came in 2013 with her own clothing line, but it was not successful.

Last year,  last weekend of August, a new event  started  in the Netherlands: Africa Fashion Week Amsterdam. For three days the Amsterdam World Fashion Centre was dedicated to African culture and fashion. For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible. "The message incorporates basic mathematical and physical ideas to construct a universal means of communication, followed by information regarding the biochemical makeup of life on Earth," said Jonathan Jiang, the primary author.
