RIP Jackie Collins



Jackie Collins is deceased at the age of 77. Collins suffered from breast cancer.

The British died in Los Angeles. That made her family known at the BBC Sunday.

"With a huge sadness we announce the death of our beautiful, dynamic and unique mother", informed the family in response to her death.

Jackie became so popular that her famous, older sister, the actress Joan Collins, rivaled. She got in 1998 even its own daily TV show, Jackie Collins' Hollywood. There were mainly actors and actresses, and other celebrities from Hollywood guest, exactly the kind of people that were main characters in her books.

The writer was incidentally as a child familiar with the world of showbiz. Her father was a theatrical agent who among others singers like Shirley Bassey, The Beatles and Tom Jones had in his wallet.

For the second time in history, scientists are transmitting communications to extraterrestrials.

NASA scientists hope to communicate with extraterrestrials. They've drafted a message that they want to launch into space soon. That message is more than a simple 'hi, how are you?' The goal is to give the aliens as much knowledge about our civilization as possible.
