Dimitri James is a professional makeup artist, whose work graced the runway and the red carpet and national and international television programs and magazines. The author of Becoming Beauty, Dimitri is also the creator of Skinn Cosmetics, a line of premium skin care formulas and decorative cosmetics.

Dimitri credits his long and successful career in the industry for its innate ability to see, and bring out the beauty in everyone. He wast been growing through the passion of his mother and two grandmothers who did all three European training for beauticians. Dimitri followed their footsteps and was licensed esthetician and was used as a makeup artist for some of the most iconic world beauty brands, including Estee Lauder, Chanel, Revlon, Lancôme and Borghese. He was the head coach for makeup artists and beauticians on the highly successful Adrien Arpel Baths and Spas.
